On Friday, Sep 19, 2025, a group of 12 skilled players from Japan traveled to Hong Kong to attack the biggest group on the HK server. With 5 online defenders, things did not look good for team Hong Kong. Then a miracle happened. One superhuman player from team Hong Kong defeated team Japan. Did he cheat? This clip is from the cheater's point of view.
It is clear that this player can see at night. Watch the same clip with the sun turned on.
See this player aim-down-sights to hit impossible headshots at night, through trees, with no possible silhouette. But wait - there's more. This player can see through terrain and walls too. See for yourself.
Wow! Did you catch his last 2 shots? What is he shooting at? What's behind the rock? Here it is again in slo-mo with transparency.
Busted!
It's not just one clip. We caught him doing it dozens of times. RustGalaxy staff reviewed hours of footage of this player using our admin time travel machine. Key moments were documented and evaluated by multiple RustGalaxy admins to avoid confirmation bias. RustGalaxy is 100% confident that this player cheated.
Verdict: Banned for ESP
RustGalaxy is the only Rust server with admin time travel. Every player is recorded at all times. We see what happens before you press F7. Other Rust servers ignore F7 cheater reports because they cannot rewind time. The result is that you are unlikely to ever see a cheater on RustGalaxy servers.
Aug 20 Cheater Reports
RustGalaxy admin team received 8 reports alleging that a group of raiders lead by the notorious Constantine was using cheats to shoot through walls. The admin team has reviewed all 8 reports. RustGalaxy player reports include very detailed footage of what happened leading up to the report, not just after the report! This is a feature unique to RustGalaxy as it makes our admin team more capable of catching cheaters than any other server. If there is evidence of cheating, the footage will have it, as long as the report is submitted promptly.
We focused on observing the actions of the player who was reported primarily, and everything is completely normal. He's outside the base and is shooting at enemies whenever they show themselves. There is absolutely no evidence of cheating here.
Next, we watched the footage from the perspective of the defenders. There was one part that stood out where the defender was shot while wounded and had no visibility on who shot them. We switched to the camera of the shooter and confirmed that he had a valid angle to hit the target. This is the part that we will demonstrate in the video below:
The shooter on the ground had a clear shot at the defender and showed no sign of using cheats. We understand why it looked like shooting through walls, but this is not the case. It's to do with where the player's camera is relative to their body and is just how Rust works. We have seen this a lot.
Verdict: Not Cheating
Thanks for choosing RustGalaxy, and yes, our admins are very active at ensuring fair play, and we do this using one-of-a-kind technology that RustGalaxy developed that allows us to see everything without being in-game at that exact moment. In fact, nobody has ever had admin privileges on any public RustGalaxy server. We simply don't need them. If you believe you saw someone using cheats, report them with F7 and we will take a look. We investigate every report. ❤️
