Very hard to belive that he knew where our both bases was. Also when we started on this server he raided us right away which made us move to the current main base. How to Make a Report
Press F7 in game. Your report will appear on this page.
How to Playback the Replay Files
- Find your Rust install folder. In Steam: Library → Right‑click Rust → Manage (or Properties) → Browse local files.
- Create the demos folder. In the Rust install folder create a new folder named demos (exact name: demos — no leading slash). Demo files are saved/loaded from that folder.
- Put the demo file in the folder. Move your demo file (file extension .dem) into the Rust\demos folder. The game looks for .dem files there.
- Launch Rust and open the Demo Browser. Start Rust and make sure you’re at the main menu (not actively connected to a server).
- Click the demo playback (camera) icon at the top‑right of the main menu to open the demo browser; your demos will be listed there.
Replay Files Drop at the End of Every Wipe
The replay files are published at the end of the wipe for privacy. They let you fly around anyone's base like an admin. Sensitive info is visible such as TC location. Door codes and box contents are not in the file, keeping them private. RustGalaxy players sacrifice a bit of privacy to benefit from a cheater free environment.
RustGalaxy Exclusive
Other Rust server don't do this. That's why they have cheaters. Only RustGalaxy has the tech for staff and the public to rewind time to directly witness what happened for every F7 report. The replay covers the 5 minutes before the report, not after. That means the cheating is caught on tape for all to see. You don't have to trust the admins. You can verify.

Advanced Tips
- The Rust built-in replay file viewer is how creators make those eye-candy Rust clips that look better than the game's normal graphics.
- There are lots of tutorials on YouTube about how to add effects, camera angles, pin the camera to moving objects, add depth of field, change the lighting, and more.
- Set up hotkeys to quickly fast forward, jump back in time, turn on the sun, fly around like an admin, and more.
- Set your browser to save the replay files directly in the Rust demo folder. This saves time when going through lots of cheaper reports.
- You can blast through lots of cheater reports efficiently with practice.
- Use the F2 menus to make terrain, walls, and bases transparent to catch ESP cheaters in the act.
- Use Nvidia Geforce Experience or other clipping software to make quick video clips. Share in discord.
- Share video clips in discord to prove yourself or other players innocent (or guilty!)
- There is a reward for anyone that can catch a cheater that the galaxy staff missed.
